My wireless PS3 controller is connected, but is not responding?

Your controller will enter a “sleep mode” after 3-5 minutes of inactivity. Press the “Home” button to reactivate the controller. The controller will automatically sync after returning to active mode.

If the controller is in active mode, but is still not responding, confirm that the controller is connected as controller #1. Controller settings/channels can be changed using the PS3™ controller settings, refer to the PS3™ User Guide or their support website for further instructions.

If the controller won't enter active mode, confirm the internal battery is properly charged. See this article for more information on charging your controller.

If you have tried all of the above, make sure your PS3 is not surrounded by too many other electronic devices, wireless devices, or metal objects, as these may cause interference. Try relocating your PS3 away from these types of items.

If you still experience this issue after following these steps, please reach out to us.
